HL 05: HA LONG - CAT BA
TREKKING & KAYAKING
Ha Noi - Ha Long bay "The World Heritage" - Cat Ba
(3 days / 2 nights - daily departure.) |
One of the naturals wonders of the world and an UNESCO world
heritage site. Ha Long bay is a truly remarkable destination. Over
3000 islands protrude from the sea with red sailed junks dotting the
horizon. With a total area of 354 sq km, the mountainous island of
Cat Ba is the largest island in Ha Long bay. Cat Ba is a tropical
paradise of white sands beach, caves, and limestone peaks, which
rise like gnarled, blackened fingers from the lush greenery.
Day 1 : Hanoi - Ha Long - Cat Ba (L, D)
7:30-8:00 Pick up from your Hotel. Depart Hanoi for a three and
a half hour drive through the Red River Delta to Ha Long City. On
the way we will stop for refreshments.
11.30 Arrive in Ha Long tourist wharf, Lunch at restaurant.
12.30 You will board our
wooden boat for cruise in Ha Long Bay to visit SUNG SOT (Amazing cave)
cave - the most beautiful cave in Ha Long bay, fishing village and
swimming. Have dinner.
Overnight on Boat or at Hotel in Cat Ba Island. ( On request )
Day 2:
Cat Ba National Park and
Kayaking (B, L, D)
AM: After breakfast on boat and enjoy a sunrise cruise in the
breathtaking scenery of Ha Long. Cruise to Lan Ha Bay, change to a
small boat for explore Lan Ha Bay, Monkey Island, kayaking or
fishing and swimming at Van Boi beach. Then take a boat to Cat Ba
Island. Check in hotel, lunch.
PM: After lunch, take a bus along the remote village to Tran Chau
village. Then trekking along path to visit Phap village, continue on
to trekking through the pine forest, the fields to Ang Goi in Xuan
Dam village, stop for visiting area of bee hatching, garden of
fruit, swimming. Then take a bus back to hotel. Have dinner.
Overnight at Hotel in
Cat Ba Island.
Day 3: Cat Ba - Ha Long - Hanoi (B, L)
AM: Breakfast at Hotel. Then take Boat trip back to Ha Long Bay. Lunch.
PM: Return to Hanoi. Arrive Hanoi at
around 16h00.
