Only 120 km South-West from Ho Chi Minh, approximately 2.5 hours driving, we’ll escape totally from the bustling city to another world: a world of water and lush vegetation, a world where people have a relaxed and happy life together. Cai Be is the typical image of Mekong Delta: bustling floating market, traditional handicraft villages and fruit orchards. Mekong Lodge is hidden among these luxuriant gardens of mango, longan, rambutan, durian trees and flowers. To reach Mekong Lodge, the only way is by boat as it is situated on an island deposited by the Tien River. Here, boat is the most popular means of transport for locals to move from one place to another. Mekong Lodge has 26 private charming Bungalows and a Riverside Restaurant, stretching in an area of more than 20.000 m2. Our ideas were since long time ago and our dream came true in November 2010. Mekong Lodge is now ready to welcome travelers who are looking for a real discovery in Mekong Delta.
Nestled along the bank of Tien River, Mekong Lodge is a charming eco-resort where design, comfort and nature are blended seamlessly together. Our lodge features 26 private bungalows (12 with pools), meticulously built to embody the local style of rural “garden cottage” surrounded by flowers and fruit trees. Right at the heart of Mekong Delta, Mekong Lodge offers a chance to explore one of the most beautiful areas in the region, which is still left untouched by modernization and development. Here, you can live not as a tourist but as a local with daily life going on around: vibrant river, fantastic floating market and quaint villages. Overlooking Tien River, Mekong Lodge Riverside Restaurant offers you the very best view of waterfront life. Our restaurant and bar are open until midnight. Here you can find a wide selection of international delicacies and Mekong Delta signature food such as bloating fried elephant ear fish. You may request to be served at garden outside your bungalows. We can also arrange a romantic candle-lit dinner for you and your loved one only. Great food, excellent wine and cocktail, superb views and pristine natural settings, we have everything you need for fabulous dining experience. |
